We've covered Fractured Fairy Tales before, but let us recommend one more series that's perfect for graphic novel readers aged 7+! 

You might think of fairies as kind and helpful, granting wishes and spreading happy dust, but think again! In this series, fairies are very, very naughty and actually rather rude. With the exception, that is, of Pip, our RECKLESS, FEARLESS and, well, CLUELESS, hero! He is on on a breakneck adventure among the warring unfairy tribes of The Garden, wading through sinister plots, dubious ancient prophecies, thrilling centipede chases, ferocious squirrels, angry ladybirds, fairy enemies and so much more!

This is such a thrilling series, and the full-colour illustrations throughout make it even better, funnier, more engaging. It's a great option if you are after both one of the Best Graphic Novels for 7 and 8 year olds and one of the Best Magical Series for 7 and 8 year olds, perfect for fans of Bunny vs Monkey and  Evil Emperor Penguin.
