All main character Daisy Brewster wishes for is to get a good part in the school play, but when her super celebrity cousin, who is already breaking hearts and winning contracts on the world stage, comes to town from LA, her dreams turn to dust! As the two get to know each other better, Daisy still has to deal with all the usual problems of being a tween, like sudden strange feelings towards boys, a HUGE SPOT appearing on her chin, and gossiping girls!

The books should ideally be read in order to follow the characters' development and relationships.
