New Kid Graphic Novels Series

The graphic novels in this series are #1 New York Times Bestsellers and author-illustrator Jerry Craft  won the 2020 Newbery Medal, the Coretta Scott King Author Award and the Kirkus Prize for Young Readers’ Literature with the first book. We believe these full-colour graphic novels should be required reading for all children aged 7+.

This series follows friends Jordan and Drew on their individual journeys, and their joint endeavours, as they try to navigate the waters of a prestigious private school where diversity is low and the struggle to fit in is real. Jordan and Drew both feel their upbringing is very different to that of their classmates, but their growing friendship makes everything better. Each book is full of empathy, love and pure friendship.

This is the perfect series for fans of Raina Telgemeier and Gene Luen Yang, who also explore school life and the desire to fit in.

All the New Kid Graphic Novels in order:
