Johnny Maxwell Series

From the incredible author Terry Pratchett comes a brilliant middle-grade trilogy that has all the magic and imaginative power of Discworld

The series is set in a quaint English town called Blackbury in the 1990s, and follows a young boy named Johnny Maxwell. Throughout the books he gets lost in games, distracted by some ghosts in a cemetery and even meets a time-travelling bag lady. Johnny always seems to be getting himself into trouble, but he is compelled to fight for what's right when he's called into action. And the core of all these books seems to beg the question: has Johnny made it all up in his head, or are we just not seeing the magic in the everyday?
