In each book, potagonist Hope Crumble helps her family run a busy and bustling café. Her mum is stressed managing the books, her dad and gran are constantly battling in the kitchen, her cousin is constantly wearing a new costume to promote their business and then there's Auntie Rita being Auntie Rita! All while balancing her own tween life with friends, school and some not-so-great bullies. Life is complete and utter CHAOS and it's so very often Hope that problem-solves to keep customers happy!
