Emily Vole is one of our favourite book characters. Not just because she was found in an abandoned hatbox at Stansted Airport, in London, but because she makes a very special inheritance from an old neighbour: Wings and Co Detective Agency becomes hers, and once its doors are open again, Emily has so many magical mysteries to solve, with the help of some friends of course.

Sally Gardner is the award winning author behind Maggot Moon, I, Coriander,  Tinder and The Boy Who Could Fly.

This is the perfect series for fans of Fairy Forest School, Izzy the Inventor, Alice Eclair and The Shop of Impossible Ice Creams books.
