The Theodore Boone series is a brilliant collection of upper-middle-grade books that blend mystery with the legal system, perfect for readers aged 10+ who want to be lawyers when they grow up, or who simply love unravelling intricate mysteries.
 
Theodore Boone is the thirteen-year-old protagonist of each story in the series. His father is a real estate lawyer and his mother a divorce attorney, so it’s safe to say he knows quite a lot about the law, the judicial system and the people on the field, from judges to policemen and court clerks. So much so that he dispenses legal advice to all his friends, just like a real lawyer.
 
But, in each book, his life gets increasingly complicated, and while he experiences the ordinary troubles of your everyday teen, the stakes in each mystery he must solve just get higher and higher. Theo finds himself dragged into a murder trial, on the search for his missing best friend, untangling himself from a framed robbery and even stalking a serial killer… One thing is sure: Theo won’t stop until justice is served.
