Before you get started, just know that Penny's last name isn't actually dreadful, but it's a brilliant nickname coined by her father because, well, she always seems to be getting caught in something rather dreadful! Each book contains three mini stories in which Penny gets her gran to accidentally fall over her Patented Burglar Trap, messes up her mum's birthday cake, accidentally makes her cousin bald and so much more...
