Maisie Hitchins lives in her grandmother's boarding house. She so longs for adventure and idolizes the famous detective Gilbert Carrington, following his every case. Together with her faithful pup Eddie, Maisie is determined to follow even the slightest scent of a mystery, and in each book in this series set in Victorian London, she gets to the bottom of a new exciting case. 

With cute illustrations throughout and the fantastic writing of our favourite Animal Stories author, this is a fantastic mystery series for children aged 5+.
