Usborne's And How It Works series for readers aged 6+ is full of bright, colourful illustrations and explains so many natural processes of anatomy and neurology in easy and simple ways.

In each book, a sweet and knowledgeable parrot takes curious children on an adventure to understand more about science. Children will lean about the various cycles of our bodies, how different body parts communicate with each other and how we do so many things naturally thanks to the processes happening inside our very own bodies.

We really love Usborne Books for how interactive they are, and we also recommend their Step Inside Science books. Do also take a look at more of The Best Non-Fiction Books for Kids on Toppsta!
