Wranglestone is a YA dystopian zombie apocalypse series with a sweet LGBTQ romance at its core.
The books are set in a world where zombies have taken over America, and only small group of humans survive, living hidden away in a national park surrounded by water. But Peter takes the road less travelled, and finds himself facing zombies, falling in love with another boy and discovering the world has a far bigger problem than the the undead.
While the series opens an important, and necessary, discussion on consumerism in modern-day society, we should mention that some sections, particularly of Wranglestone, can be a bit scary.
This is a great series for fans of All That's Left in the World and the Death Cast series. For more books like this, do check out our blog post on the Best Scary and Ghost Book Series for 13 and 14 year olds.
