Yu-Gi-Oh!: Millennium World Series

Yu-Gi-Oh! is one of the best-known and loved manga and anime series for young readers aged 9+, in which a young boy called Yugi Mutou releases a magical Egyptian spirit, Dark Yugi, whilst playing a dangerous card game. 

Throughout the series, Yugi and Dark Yugi must go on quests and endure challenges and trials to retrieve the lost memories of the Dark Yugi. Yu-Gi-Oh!: Millennium World follows the first two volumes of the saga, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist.

At this point in the overall Yu-Gi-Oh! story, Yugi has collected all the precious Egyptian God Cards to unlock the memories of the Dark Yugi, and those of his own past life: he can finally travel back to ancient Egypt, where not only did magic and monsters truly exist, but he was also a pharaoh himself! He must explore his past and overcome challenges each step of the way, his journey ending in an epic battle with a monster that has been waiting for its match for over 3,000 years.
