Charlie McGuffin has an incredible secret: he can change into animals ... a flea, a pigeon, even a rhino. Trouble is, he can't decide when – it only happens when he gets worried. And quite a lot of things are going on that worry him, from school bullies to his ill brother and his dad's business failing. The books mix the hilariousness of Charlie's superpower with mental health that both parents and children will love. 

Similar to this series, we'd also recommend reading The Exploding Life Of Scarlett Fife and the Billy and the Mini Monsters books, which also touch on children's emotions in approachable and fun ways.
