RWBY Series

For all manga and anime lovers out there, this is a fantastic series to sink your teeth into, based on the hit RWBY animated web series created by Monty Oum! Fans of the Winx saga will love this, as it follows four strong female leads, and is at its core a story of friendship, teamwork and believing in yourself no matter what. 

Meet Team RWBY! Four super powerful young girls attending the Beacon Academy, a special school where you can train to become a Huntsman or Huntress. Together, they are invincible: they can battle any force of evil, but they also support each other and form a true friendship like no other.

Ruby Rose is weapon-obsessed - she's got a scythe called Crescent Rose and a high caliber sniper rifle. But her greatest weapon is her ability to burst into rose petals! She also is a pro runner, able to move so fast you can't spot her, and she also has Silver eyes.

Weiss Schnee is very much inspired by Snow White, princess-like and delicate. She comes from an elite family involved in quite a lot of tricky business, reason why she is becoming a huntress: she wants to bring back her family's honour. She fights with a trusty Dust revolver called Myrtenaster. 

Blake Belladonna LOVES books and is inspired by Beauty and the Beast's Belle. Her weapon is the Gambol Shroud, a type of scythe. She is a true force when she ATTACKS, moving in mid-air! She can also turn into a shadow clone of herself, confusing her enemies even more as they fight tooth and nail.

Yang Xiao Long is instead inspired by Goldilocks, blonde and fighting with twin shotgun gauntlets called Ember Celica. She also has a BIONIC arm that has its very own shotgun installed in it, as well as grenades.

Each character has a 'Semblance', a special power that helps them in battle. And the battles that await are fierce and merciless as they fight evil forces, terrible creatures and even menacing organisations that threaten their home's safety and peace. The more they fight, the more they discover of the world they belong to, including how its power is stored and its protection.

If you love epic battles, a cast of strong women and weapons of all sorts, this series will leave you breathless.
