When floods in the low-lying towns downriver from River Heights destroy many homes and business, River Heights is one of the first towns to contribute to relief efforts. Nancy, Bess, and George all sign on as volunteers for Helping Homes, a non-profit that builds homes for people in need. But trouble starts when work on the new apartments is sabotaged including ruined plumbing equipment and holes smashed in newly installed drywall. Nancy wonders why anyone would hinder such a worthy project, and she immediately offers to try to find and stop the culprit.
Kids will love this hilarious fairy tale adventure packed with clever twists, familiar characters and page-turning fun.
