Galid was the last occupant of Old Poplar House. The little mouse laments his Christmas is lonely and that his holiday tree is teeny tiny and he only gets one tiny present for Christmas. Things change dramatically when a young couple buys the old house and moves in right before Christmas. They have an enormous tree with dozens of presents. Galid begins to wonder if the young couple would miss one present. His plans to steal a present results in a misadventure that is both funny but thought provoking.
