Hedgy Visits the Dentist is a colourful picture book which aims to encourage children to go to the dentist, reduce any worries or anxiety they may have and hopefully make their first dental visit a pleasant one. It also supports children with additional needs and those with social or sensory differences, including those who are neurodivergent.
In the story, Hedgy the hedgehog visits the dentist for the very first time. We hope that after reading the story your child will have a good idea of what a dentist does and what they might expect once they arrive. Includes: a step-by-step guide on how to clean teeth; an award chart with Hedgy stickers; an activity maze to reinforce the five steps to healthy teeth and useful tips for parents/carers too.
