Nasser Kassim was born in Somalia where he witnessed at first hand both the cruelty and the kindness of the human spirit. He is married and has lived in Manchester since 2010. He wrote this charming story to show children that everyone needs to give those less fortunate than they are, a helping hand. He is employed in recruitment.
