Love Ssega is a British Ugandan musician, producer and multidisciplinary artist. He first gained recognition as the founding songwriter and original frontman of Clean Bandit, writing early tracks including Mozart’s House while studying at Cambridge University.

Alongside his music career, Ssega completed a PhD in laser spectroscopy before moving into interdisciplinary creative work spanning music, visual art and activism. His projects explore themes such as social justice and climate action, and in 2026 he publishes his debut children’s novel The Elementals: Wanzu Sets Sail.
