Andrea has taken up writing for children after writing poetry for adults for many years. She teaches poetry writing at university and performs her quirky poems on stage. She enjoys acting, films, theatre and crisps. She lives in Germany, in a town close to Hamburg. Barbara has been working with children and adults with special needs for many years. She lives in Cologne with her husband and two children. She loves dancing, decorating her home, and having fun with her friends. She would like to live by the sea some day. A Friend Like You is her first book. A Derbyshire lad born and bred, Sean studied at the Mansfield College of Art and then moved to Bristol to study Illustration. He still lives in Bristol with his girlfriend, with whom he shares an allotment, two goldfish, a love of cake and a dream that one day they'll get a dog and some chickens.
