Suzanne Diederen (1974, the Netherlands) received an education at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design. She specialized in illustrating children's books and picture books. She had a son, Gilles, and a daughter, Sophie. Elly van der Linden is greatly involve in making children enthusiastic about reading. She has worked with BoekStart, a Dutch project for promotion of baby books and reading since birth. After being behind the scenes for so long, she decided to write herself and the result is greatly acclaimed.
