New edition of the popular Letterland Software, now featuring sound: interactive phonics games to help children with reading, writing and spelling.
Letterland Software features a variety of interactive games for introducing young children to phonics. The activities are differentiated at two ability levels, providing exciting opportunities for developing and extending early literacy skills for reading and spelling.
At Level 1 (previously Software 1), children are introduced to the Letterland characters. They learn alphabet sounds and are shown how to form letters correctly, with the help of catchy rhymes. Further games provide opportunities to develop listening skills, practise spelling patterns, and match words and pictures.
Level 2 (previously Software 2) builds on early literacy skills, introducing new vocabulary and more challenging spelling patterns such as the digraphs ch, sh, th and wh. An additional feature provides children with writing frames to compose their own letters, greetings cards and invitations.
