The first 8 books of a new range (The World Of...), covering core curriculum topics in KS3 English, Maths, Science and French. Ideas are placed within the context of real-life scenarios to make the topics relevant and interesting. At Year 7, the contexts are introduced by four characters, whilst at Year 9 they use real-life examples to make the topics relevant and memorable. This approach reflects the emphasis in schools towards more contextualized-learning, i.e. learning about things within a relevant situation.
