Anne Cottringer was born in Canada, and studied at the Slade School of Art and the Royal College of Art. She has written several picture books already, and she is also a producer/director/camerawoman. Her most recent project was a short documentary on a group of genocide survivors in Rwanda. She is married and has two children.
