Harry, a featherless chick, finds an egg lying on the path. He tries to stick it up his jumper, but it won't quite fit. As well as fending off would-be mothers to the egg (a fox, a rat) whose intentions are very dubious, they manage to drop it so that it cracks and a surprise pops out.
