Transafrique Wb1 Ghanaian Adaptn

Write a Review

The first of a three-year French course written for junior secondary schools in English-speaking Africa. The approach takes into consideration the often lengthy nature of the teaching programme with two or three lessons per week. Progress is therefore paced accordingly with regular revision and recycling. The course aims at providing a foundation for the everyday spoken and written French of 12 to 13-year olds, both amongst themselves and in their relationship with adults. The themes encountered at level 1 relate to the pupils' everyday lives and most of the situation dialogues are set in an English-speaking African context, featuring French-speaking characters. Each level of "Transafrique" comprises a student's book, a workbook containing additional practice material, and a teacher's book with detailed teaching notes and a full answer key.
