Young friends are caught on the camera of a movie company filming London's historical landmarks. They enter a fantasy world of bizarre characters, wily animals, and an evil General from an ancient dynasty intent on conquering Britain. The author Annie G. is a grandmother who lives in London. The series portray today's children of North London becoming embroiled in comical adventures with characters from British history. Included in the series is a teenage pop-group for whom Annie has written lyrics, some of which have been put to music. Annie even features as a character in the series, the heroic 'Grandma Annie Get Your Gun' pitted against the big bad wolf.
