A wolverine, having been the victim of a prank by a group of young flying squirrels, swears to get revenge. Soon, he kidnaps one of the young squirrels - who happens to be a cousin of Linden's, Yakari's beaver friend. The wolverine's plan is to torture his prisoner by starving him, then gobble him whole to acquire his ability to glide through the air! Yakari and Linden will have to work hard to rescue their friend ... and convince the incensed predator to abandon his nefarious plans!
