The Peebles family have just moved house and there's a lot to be done. Much to his annoyance, Peedie Peebles is not, under any circumstances, allowed near any of the pots of paint. But as we follow the Peebles around their new home and each room is painted a different colour, the temptation proves just too much for naughty Peedie Peebles. And the end result is certainly colourful - if a bit chaotic. Mairi Hedderwick perfectly captures the child's-eye view in this endearing picture book, which will help the youngest child to see the fun - and results - of paint mixing.
