The paperback format resembles books their peers are reading, while the shorter length will help students gain confidence and make progress. Abigail tells her brother Lee a spooky tale about a monster called the Creep in the Deep that lives in the pond. But just as she finishes, something rises from the water – just like the monster! Luckily, it’s not the Creep… it’s their pet dog!
