When he was a boy the sea was full of life and there was always plenty for everyone. But now, pollution and overfishing have depleted the resources and the old man must think of a way to save the sea for future generations. A beautiful and thought-provoking story, sensitively illustrated by Jonathan Huntley. Tracy Duncan lives in a little old cottage by the sea, also in Nelson, along with her husband, Jonny, two children and a burgeoning collection of waifs and strays. Notoriously bad at saying "no", as in "Mum, can we keep it?", she believes there should always be room at the table for one more. As well as illustrations, Tracy also paints murals, designs logos and has recently had a sell-out exhibition of paintings.
Kids will love this hilarious fairy tale adventure packed with clever twists, familiar characters and page-turning fun.
