The evil wizard Malvic is on the rise again and a war is coming.
While away learning warrior skills, Autumn is shocked to hear that a village has been attacked. It turns out that the perpetrators were searching for a magical book which could aid in the fight against the wizard. After helping trace the fleeing villagers and in the company of Alpha, the wolf-cat and her friend, Yulia they set their sights on searching for Yulia’s unknown kin, a strange secretive tribe who live deep in the desert and who specialise in the art of dream-walking and swordsmanship.
Alton, the Librarian and Tan are also on the move and oddly Otto, the Lord’s son has announced that he will join them on their travels. The purpose of the journey is to seek out the well of magic that Alton has read about which could help them defeat Malvic. But where is Shining Leaves when they need him? He has not been seen for some time and he might be a fierce dragon, but Tan is nevertheless very concerned about the dragon’s safety.
A Wolf-Cat Called Alpha is an exhilarating children’s fantasy story and the second book in the Adventures of a Dragon Called Shining Leaves.
